"I found myself short staffed and trying to do two jobs while desperately needing to prepare for an upcoming zoo class for kids ages 11 and 12. I purchased the Fish Populations Level 1 and instantly had one of my activities done. With easy to follow instructions, minimal materials needed, it was easy, fun and educational. Curricula utilized in the zoo setting or in an afterschool setting must be engaging, fun and educational to be successful; otherwise, the kids simply won't come back. If you are looking for high quality materials that will engage your students, you must try Curricubits."

Dear Camille,
Thank you for preparing Curricubits. I have been home schooling for nine years and I love your lessons. Although I have been a teacher for 20 years and have a master's degree in education, this did not prepare me to teach my own children at home.
Your lessons are easy to use and I don't have to spend a lot of time preparing. Each comes with a complete list of materials so I don't have to figure out what I need to teach. The lessons have creative ideas and unique ways to help children learn.
With Curricubits I just use the lessons I want. I like being able to decide if I just want to teach one lesson or the entire unit. Most of the lessons can be done in any order so it fits with the curriculum I am currently using and I can teach on my own time schedule.
One thing I really like is that I don't have to have any previous knowledge about the subject. I just have to read it out loud to my children. All of the lessons are scripted and I can choose to follow or not follow the script. Since the lessons cover a range of ages, I can teach all of my children at the same time.
Sincerely,
Cindy P., a home schooling mom

"Through hands-on activities and experiments, students reinforce their conceptual understanding of complex topics, such as heritage, volcanoes, and density. Activities include investigating family names, building an earthquake simulator, and graphing fish populations with software. The lessons are scripted and contain simple, step-by-step procedures for delivery, as well as pre- and post-quizzes. Most involve scientific thinking, creative expression, and opportunities for students to showcase their work or extend the learning."
Reviewers' Notes: "The activities in this resource are fun and helpful in reinforcing knowledge in various content areas. Lessons can be taught as stand-alone or as part of the larger theme. There may be minimal costs involved in purchasing the materials needed for the activities, but most are common household items."
"I downloaded the free curriculum on the percentages of water to land on the Earth. I found the instructions easy to follow and the activities both educational and interactive. I believe that all students at the projected age range would benefit from this lesson. It is fun and requires imagination."

"I LOVED calculating the scores for the tests. In fact, there wasn't anything I DIDN'T love about working with this program."

"Your curriculum about the water is excellent. I loved the idea of using the globe. Really interesting, engaging, and memorable for the kids. I felt like I could actually do that, and have it succeed...and I am sooo not a teacher. I’ll mention this to anyone who might possibly be interested. It is truly a great product and a very usable site. And, you are obviously excellent at the customer service aspect too. Congratulations again!"
